Una excelente obra narrativa fondamente didáutica, anque con intelixente y bien disimulada envoltura, que ye quien a enganchar dende l'entamu al final al xoven llector(y tamién, por qué non, a la xente veterano). Adolfo Camilo ufre nella una bien iguada trama d'aventures y lleyendes enraigonaes na historia de la patria astur. Seres mitolóxicos, héroes llexendarios, doncelles desaparecíes, un pueblu enteru aterrorizáu, el mieu al mieu... La escuridá, les baxes pasiones, la lluz, les grandes virtúes. La guapura del arte, del arte con raigones na propia tierra, con fe y amor polo llariego, emplegao de manera holística pa educar y ensalzar los valores clásicos virtuales (de les virtúes,eh..): paciencia contra ira, humildá contra soberbia, arrogancia contra avaricia, caridá contra envidia... Y na consabida llucha ente el bien y el mal, ente la illustración y l'escurantismu, triunfa el ser valiente que vence al tiranu. Pero tamién ganen, nesta singular batalla, l'arte,la guapura y la esencia de l'amistá. Si a too ello amestamos el cuidáu y ricu llinguaxe remanao de manera maxistral pol autor, podemos atrevemos a calificar a "Memorial del Monstruu" como una de les meyores obres del prolíficu autor ayerán. |
